أطلقت اللجنة المنظمة لدورة الألعاب السعودية 2023، فئة جديدة في الدورة للشباب تحت 18 عاماً وذلك في 12 لعبة رياضية ضمن منافسات دورة الألعاب السعودية التي تفتتح في السادس والعشرون من نوفمبر الحالي وتستمر حتى العاشر من ديسمبر المقبل.
وتتضمن منافسات الألعاب السعودية للشباب مسابقات كرة اليد للرجال، وكرة السلة 3×3 للرجال، ومسابقات كرة الطاولة فردي للرجال والسيدات، ومسابقات الجمباز للرجال، ومسابقات الجودو في أوزان تحت 60 كجم، وتحت 66 كجم، وتحت 73 كجم، وتحت 81 كجم وتحت 90 كجم وتحت 100 كجم، وفوق 100 كجم للرجال، وتتضمن منافسات رفع الأثقال أوزان 55 كجم و61 كجم و67 كجم و73 كجم و81 كجم وفوق 81 كجم للرجال.
كما تتضمن منافسات ألعاب القوى مسابقات عدو 100 متر و400 متر حواجز للرجال وعدو 100 متر للسيدات، ومنافسات الملاكمة أوزان 48 كجم، و57 كجم، و67 كجم، و80 كجم للرجال، و54 كجم للسيدات، أما منافسات المبارزة فتتضمن مسابقات السايبر والأبيه والشيش للرجال والسيدات، ومسابقات الكاراتيه في أوزان تحت 55 كجم، وتحت 61 كجم، وتحت 68 كجم، وتحت 76 كجم، وفوق 76 كجم كوميتيه للرجال، ووزن مفتوح للسيدات، وتتضمن منافسات التايكوندو أوزان تحت 48 كجم وتحت 55 كجم وتحت 63 كجم وتحت 73 كجم وفوق 73 كجم للرجال، وتتضمن منافسات السباحة مسابقات 50 متر حرة و50 متر صدر و50 متر ظهر و50 متر فراشة للرجال، و50 متر حرة و50 متر صدر للسيدات.
وتحفّز اللجنة المنظمة المشاركين لتقديم أفضل أداء لهم من خلال تخصيص جوائز قيّمة، إذ يحصل الفائز بالميدالية الذهبية على 100 ألف ريال، والفضية 50 ألف ريال، والبرونزية 25 ألف ريال.

Exciting New Youth Category Featuring 12 Thrilling Sports
Unveiled for Saudi Games 2023

The Organizing Committee of the Saudi Games 2023 is thrilled to announce the addition of a brand-new youth category within its competition. Catering specifically to the nation’s youth under 18, twelve sports will be featured in this exciting addition to the Games, taking place this year from November 26 to December 10, 2023.
The Saudi Youth Games 2023 will encompass a wide range of sports, including men’s 3×3 basketball, men’s and women’s table tennis, men’s gymnastics and men’s and women’s judo in multiple weight classes, including men’s under 60 kg, 66 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg, 90 kg, 100kg and over 100 kg, while the men’s weightlifting event will feature weight classes of under 55 kg, 61kg, 67 kg, 73 kg, 81 kg and over 81 kg.
The Saudi Youth Games 2023 will also include 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles for men and 100-meter hurdles for women. Boxing will feature men’s weight classes of 48 kg, 57 kg, 67 kg, and 80 kg, while women will see a 54 kg weight division. Fencing will include men’s and women’s cyber and epee. Kumite, one of the three primary sections of karate, will witness men’s weight divisions of under 55 kg, 61 kg, 68 kg and 76 kg, and above 76 kg, and women will feature an open-weight division. Taekwondo competitions will include men’s weight classes of under 48 kg, 55 kg, 63 kg and 73 kg, and above 73 kg. The swimming events will consist of men’s 50-meter freestyle, 50-meter breaststroke, 50-meter backstroke, and 50-meter butterfly. The women’s swim events will feature a 50-meter freestyle and 50-meter breaststroke.
Gold medalists will receive a generous prize of 100,000 Saudi Riyals, silver medalists will be awarded 50,000 Saudi Riyals, and bronze medalists will receive 25,000 Saudi Riyals. Moreover, these substantial winnings will supply the top athletes with supplemental monetary support, supporting their future athletic endeavours
